I personally won’t be here to guide you through this process, or be your cheerleader. But fight, fail, fight, fail and meet your obligations. This is the Dark Souls franchise come to life – it seems fucking impossible. ![]() ![]() I’ve invested a small amount of money, and a lot of hope in a project that (lets face it, is adult content – I’m not going to lambast either of you over this) I don’t want to keep coming back to this page to hear from one of the two developers struggles in meeting obligations. I don’t think I’m going to be overcome with excitement when this product comes to fruition, despite how good the game may very well be one day. ![]() I’ve played what content there is ad-nauseam. I deleted the folder and I’m going to move on. I’ve had access to the game folder in my dropbox for years now, it’s been a long time since the last minor update. As purported industry professionals, Veins (Victor) being a known artist and Titan being a programmer, it was assumed (and reported) that these are things you both do for a living, are quite good at, and can produce. The only real risk your team *should* have faced is approaching your customers and whether or not your proposal would be a successful draw. I was well aware that the product is still under development and so for whatever amount it was at the time ($20-$30?), it was a mitigated risk. I have waited for several years for this game to be complete – when I paid into it, as with anything else in life, I was in part paying for goods and/or services. I’ll say this as deadpan as I can and with no emotional content, which seems to help as being illustrated as ‘anonymous’. Waiting for a damn beta for 10 months is fucking ridiculous at this point, so having Titan over is an extreme but desperate move to safe this project. There is a lot of stress, self-doubt, anger and personal issues but the game needs to finish. I dont like how things are going in general and that's why I have to try twice as hard to make things happen. There is a lot of struggle behind the scenes, but nothing All these guys have to go through Titan's test first, but he has stopped being reliable, so I'm worried about that too. We need all the levels we can get for when Titan comes to live with me to work on the game, so that we wont waste any time. I got 2 new candidates to work on the level-making, and Titan has another 2. And nothing ever goes according to plan.Īt this point we are still fighting to make this work. It's easier to ruin or abandon something, rather than fight for it and work on it. It's easier to be negative than positive. ![]()
